Short Introduction
Female entrepreneurship has made extensive improvements in the past two decades. However, it is imperative to note that there is still a long way to go and an increasing number of challenges for women entrepreneurship to reach the intended heights. Despite of the increasing challenges, there is an exemplary increase in terms of reporting regarding their optimism and well-being for the future (Brown, 2013). In the contemporary era, it is hard to go through a newspaper on your favorite business outlet without necessarily seeing the shocking intrigues that female entrepreneurs face or shocking headlines on sexual headlines about women entrepreneurs. As discouraging and disheartening this might look, the truth is that each and every individual needs to wake up and face the systemic social injustices head one especially when it comes to gender and race. The collective awareness of such disparities is what is required to elevate women entrepreneurs to new heights and move the conversation forward.
