Accessibility and authentication in mobile devices for visually impaired.

The main objective of this research revolves around exploring the challenges that the visually impaired face in terms of accessibility, especially when it comes to authentication on mobile devices. The proposal commenced by identifying some of the problem areas of research and giving a brief background on the topic of research. The methodology employed in this research was literature-based which was instrumental in identifying gaps in the already existing research and provided some important insights on the research. The findings of this research indicated that the visually impaired face challenges with authentication on mobile devices. That can lead to eavesdropping, fraud, and threats to security.
